Many people think this is true, as they would certainly not want to be locked in a crate (note that dog crate and dog cage are the same thing) for any length of time themselves. Well, this is not the case for dogs that are 'den' animals.

Like Sesame Street is for children, we can use Productive Play to teach our dogs how to learn.
I have found that when our dogs are engaged with us through play they learn more quickly and with less stress. Dogs genetically are wired with a Prey Drive: Chase, Catch, Kill.
